TARA’s commitment to improving standards reaches well beyond our operations. Our organization is proud to be one focused on culture and built on delivery, ensuring we have a positive impact in the communities in which we work. We are proud to remain a company whose mission is to consistently grow our efforts in our social responsibilities throughout our communities.
Within the variety of geographical areas of our operations lies individual culture that needs not be disrupted, but supported. TARA makes it our priority to understand and respect the beliefs and practices of the local indigenous communities to ensure they remain a valued, heard, and integral part of every project. We believe in forming relationships and building partnerships through direct engagement with open lines of communication through discussions of community interest and offer solutions to increase social and economic benefits.
As TARA seeks to develop, nurture, and maintain strong working relationships we have committed to expanding these efforts through our partnership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. Within our membership we are focused on furthering the promotion of local indigenous businesses through the promotion of procurement and providing support within these communities.
“We strongly believe that we have an obligation to participate and to support the local communities in which we operate in” - Scott Bissell Chief Executive Officer
Originating in Canada, TARA continues to grow our vast presence throughout the Central and Western regions of the country making our company an integral member of many local communities. Grande Prairie continues to play a valuable role in our operations and we continue to make it our responsibility in lending support and giving back. TARA has partnered with Evergreen Park to provide the TARA Centre, which operates as one of the main facilities for a large majority of the major community and fundraising events in the area. Be sure to stay connected for upcoming events and opportunities at the TARA Centre.
