Kylar Stern, Technical Account Manager, C.E.T and Indigenous Chair

Kylar Stern is TARA’s Technical Account Manager, C.E.T. with dual roles in Sales and as our Indigenous Chair.

At TARA, our sales team’s mission is straightforward: forge efficient flowback solutions that meet our clients’ ESG goals through transparent collaboration. We don’t just interact with our clients; we integrate their goals, ensuring every project reflects a unified approach toward enhanced performance and sustainability.

With an APEGA-certified engineering backbone and a technically proficient sales force, we’re reimagining project execution.

It’s not just about the end result but how we get there, continuously seeking ways to improve cost efficiency and hitting ESG targets directly alongside our clients.

Our commitment extends beyond project sites. In our partnerships with Indigenous nations we’re pioneering joint ventures aimed at mutual growth and sustainable development.

These alliances are about more than business; they’re about building a future where industry and community thrive together.

Kylar’s experience at TARA is below in his own words:

In my roles I’ve seen firsthand the power of our Indigenous partnerships.

Engaging with our Indigenough JV partners has allowed us to align project goals with community aspirations, creating a shared path to success. It’s this aspect of my work—fostering impactful, community-focused solutions—that I find most fulfilling.

Our dedication to ESG excellence in oil and gas and meaningful Indigenous collaboration stands at the heart of TARA’s mission. Together, we’re not just meeting industry standards; we’re setting them.

In my own experience working in sales with Tara, I am very fortunate to be able to work hands on with clients to provide solutions and creative ways to execute their projects.

The face-to-face collaboration is exciting to me as it allows us to work through possible issues and concerns, and have a full understanding of the scope before we start. The line stays open throughout the job and we are constantly working to provide greater efficiency and do things better.

In my role as sales and Indigenous Chair, I am fortunate to be able to meet and collaborate with our Indigenous partners and bring the discussions full circle with our clientele.

As we spend time in the local community and meeting with our JV partners, we get an idea of what collaboration means to them, what needs they have in their community, and how we can work with the producers to further benefit all parties involved.

With this collaborative approach we are able to create meaningful change based on the things the community and Indigenous groups value, and to me there is nothing better than creating a positive impact both within the industry and our community.
